WHAT IS ÆGONY?
AGONY + EGO = ÆGONY
AGONY - extreme physical or mental suffering.
EGO - the part of the mind that mediates between the conscious and the unconscious and is responsible for reality testing and a sense of personal identity.
ÆGONY is the label for all of my creative endeavors. Everything you see is made straight my consciousness, from start to finish. From the initial sketch, to sewing the final stitches, to photoshoots, to editing, and to promotion, everything is done by me.
The goal of ÆGONY is to dig deeper into the inherent pains that humans must endure simply by being alive. But to wear ÆGONY is to accept that struggle and overcome it, by making all the darkness and the sadness and the anger a part of you that is no longer hidden, but transformed into something beautiful.
